Game maker EA has let the cat out of the bag at 2007 The Tokyo Game Show. |
EA’s PS3 game Burnout Paradise is already being previewed at the Tokyo show. The people that have gotten to try out Burnout Paradise noticed a little rumble from the Sony controllers that they were using.
Burnout Paradise is the first rumble-equipped PS3 game to be shown. The controller that EA is using is a slightly heavier version of the Sixaxis. The rumble is equivalent to the PS2 game controller but still contains the Sixaxis motion control. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in the new controller from just looking at it. The only thing that gives it away is the sticker on the bottom that says “Rumble”.
Sony is expected to make a formal announcement on the rumble controller at today’s Tokyo show.
