Take a look at the new top kit lens that comes on some of the latest release Panasonic micro 4/3 cameras. The Panasonic LUMIX G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is one of the smallest zooms available for the system. Let’s see some of the test results below.
The Panasonic 12-32mm lens barrel is constructed of top quality plastics, with a shinny finish and the bayonet is metal. It comes in at a weight of only 70g and sticks out from the lens mount by 24mm when closed. The Panasonic 12-32mm is extended and readied for use by simply turning the slim zoom ring clockwise. There is no switch to lock the lens in its closed up position. The tiny size of this lens will make it an excellent fit for use with small Micro Four Thirds bodies like the Panasonic GX85 or the smaller DMC-GF8.
