The Panasonic GX9 will let you set your minimum shutter speed to avoid blurry images. This video will show you the steps required.
The GX85 and G85 cameras did not have this feature and it is a very welcome upgrade for the GX9 and also the GH5. If you are a street photography shooter, having this setting is very helpful. It will allow you to use Aperture priority to set your f-stop you want. You can then use auto ISO and let the camera change to gather the correct amount of light to get correct exposure. If you want your moving subjects to be sharp you can now set your minimum shutter speed to 1/500th, or cars you could go up to 1/1000th.
The video below is for a Panasonic GH5 but the menu for the GX9 is the same.
In the settings menu go to camera icon, on second page at the bottom select ‘Min. Shtr Speed’ then scroll down to your desired minimum shutter speed and select. You done. Shoot away.
You can find Panasonic GX9 accessories here on the cheap.
This doesn’t work on the GX9 as it’s greyed out.
