Using back button focus function with the Sony a6300 you can make sure your focus is locked in before pressing the shutter button. This will simply let you take the photo and not try to find focus once again.
How to enable Back Button AF on a6300 – You will need to adjust two settings on your a6300. First, turn “AF w/shutter” to “Off” but going to the Gear tab in the camera menu and moving to Section 5. That will remove the shutter buttons ability to engage auto focus. Next move to Section 7 in the same Gear tab and select “Custom Key (Shoot)”. Under “Section 2” of this sub-menu, you will want to change the “AF/MF Button” to “AF On”. When the rear button switch is set to AF/MF, it will now work as Back Button AF.
