Testing out the quality of the Olympus 9mm fisheye f8 lens mounted on a Panasonic Lumix G85 camera body. We take a look at the video quality results in 4K.
He was testing the Lumix G85 / G80 camera setup while taking a walk along the seaside in Brighton, East Sussex, England to see how well the lens and mic would work for video blogging. The Panasonic camera rig is very diminutive and easy to carry. He had a few issues outputting the 4K file as an MP4 file and it may shows up as artifacts at the beginning. The Olympus 9mm fisheye distortion is a bit rough on the eyes at times but not terribly bad to watch.
The video quality output is much better than I expected coming from the Olympus 9mm. I knew that the G85 camera was able to produce good results with the proper lens and we saw that even with this inexpensive lens attached.
